At Kearah's Place, our approach is based on a three-part strategy to help men and women overcome barriers, build resiliency, and maintain long-term stability.

  • We address significant barriers for the men and women we serve related to basic needs, physical health, trauma and mental health, communications and connections, and legal issues.
  • We help men and women build resiliency through financial health by gaining living wage employment, government benefits (if unable to work due to a disability), job training, financial management education, and finding affordable, independent housing.
  • Finally, we help maintain long-term stability by helping them repair past relationships with friends and family, and build their support networks. We also help them cultivate their spiritual health by gaining life balance and giving back to the community.
